30 & 31 JULY, 2026 | ARWACHIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, DILSHAD GARDEN, DELHI

Committees

The COVID-19 pandemic showed that the world was not ready and that poorer countries suffered the most. This committee focuses on how the global health system must be improved before the next outbreak hits. Delegates will debate early warning systems, fair vaccine distribution, and ensuring that no country is left behind in a health crisis.

Women across the world continue to face violence in their homes, workplaces, and communities while also earning less and owning less than men. This committee asks why these problems persist despite decades of laws and promises. Delegates will debate what governments, institutions, and the international community must actually do to change that.

Many governments monitor their citizens' phones, messages, and internet activity in the name of national security. But when does surveillance go too far? This committee debates the line between keeping a country safe and violating people's basic rights including privacy, freedom of speech, and the right to access information freely online.

India's economy is growing but not enough jobs are being created for its young and expanding population. This committee brings together political parties to debate why unemployment remains high and what should be done about it. Delegates will argue over labour laws, industrial growth, education, and skilling from their party's point of view.

Ten franchises. One hundred crore. Few spots to fill. This committee simulates the IPL Auction, where delegates represent official franchise stakeholders and must build a balanced, competitive squad through strategy, negotiation, and smart spending. Beyond the bidding table, delegates will also debate real league issues, the Impact Player Rule, mega auction cycles, pay disparity, and the future of league expansion.

The International Press Committee is the media wing of the MUN conference where each delegate holds a single portfolio: Journalist or Photo Artist. Delegates don’t represent countries; they work as media professionals covering the conference. The Executive Board assigns tasks based on your portfolio. Journalists cover debates and write articles, photo artists capture key moments, and caricaturists illustrate the proceedings through cartoons. All work is submitted to the EB members as per the deadlines they set, and delegates are marked accordingly based on their submissions.
