This agenda looks at the hidden struggles many children face both in classrooms and online, where spaces meant to help them grow can sometimes harm them instead. Imagine a quiet student who is mocked daily at school for how they speak or look, slowly losing confidence and dreading each morning. Now picture another child who posts a video online and becomes the target of cruel comments, threats, and cyberbullying that follow them home, making escape impossible even after school ends.

At the same time, social media can be empowering. A teenager might use it to raise awareness about climate change, join debates, or participate in community campaigns. But without safeguards, the same platforms expose children to manipulation, harassment, and mental stress.

Through these real-life realities, the committee will discuss how to protect children from abuse while ensuring they can safely express themselves, participate in society, and grow into informed, confident citizens
